Step away from the daily grind and enter a spacious natural setting designed for slowing down, breathing, and reconnecting. Nestled in the peaceful Catskill region, the O.P.E.N. retreat invites you into a restorative and expansive nature – mountainous backdrop, fresh air, forest paths, waterfall –  offering a meaningful change of pace from everyday life.

Through meditation, conversation, time in nature, shared lunch, and dialogue with monastic teachers, participants experience a day that allows both body and mind to settle and recharge. This one-day gathering provides respite from the routine, reconnect within, and build authentic connections while immersed in a supportive outdoor environment.

Professionals are welcome to bring their children, creating a rare opportunity for families to enjoy nature together while adults participate in reflective dialogue and quiet practice.

The Experience

Openness

Arrive with an open mind, setting aside expectations, and allowing space for new connections and experiences amid the calm natural environment.

Presence

Guided meditation and quiet time invite participants to slow down, create space, and allow the mind to settle and be in the moment to experience natural surroundings through our senses.

Exploration

Meaningful conversations unfold in a relaxed setting, allowing professionals to connect authentically and share experiences.

Nourishment

Time in nature, such as a gentle walk or restorative activity, supports renewal and balance, followed by guided reflection with monastic teachers to integrate insights into professional and personal life.

The flow is intentionally spacious and adaptable, allowing each gathering to unfold naturally and organically based on the group and environment.

Honor’s Haven Retreat &
Conference

1195 Arrowhead Rd, Ellenville, NY 1242

Nestled in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, Honor’s Haven offers a rare opportunity to step into a landscape of forests, open skies, and flowing water — a natural setting that invites you to slow down in a way that’s difficult to find in everyday life.

For this OPEN gathering, the environment is part of the experience. Gentle walks through wooded paths, time spent near the waterfall, and quiet moments by the lake create space for both reflection and restoration. The surrounding nature is not just scenery — it becomes a supportive backdrop for presence, exploration, and renewal.

Just a few hours from the city, the shift in environment is immediate: fresh mountain air, the sound of water, and the stillness of the forest offer a meaningful contrast to daily pace and noise. The retreat grounds include nature trails, open green spaces, and simple places to sit, walk, or pause. Seasonal changes bring different textures to the experience — from vibrant greens to crisp autumn air — each offering its own sense of calm and clarity.

Nourishing vegetarian meals are thoughtfully prepared to support the day, allowing both body and mind to feel grounded, refreshed, and at ease.
